What People Say
Most Liked
Patrons rave about Chow Dog's friendly service and welcoming attitude. Many appreciate the delectable chili dogs, often mentioned as the best in the area. The biscuits, described by some as 'soft clouds,' are a major draw during breakfast hours, enjoyed with various fillings like bacon or sausage. The drive-through option allows for quick meals without sacrificing quality. Guests also enjoy the cozy seating and quiet atmosphere perfect for a casual meal or catching up with friends. The affordability adds to Chow Dog's charm, making it a go-to for regulars in need of comfort food.
Most Disliked
While Chow Dog has garnered much praise, some feedback points to peak times when the restaurant can be crowded, particularly on Fridays around 9 AM, which reaches full capacity. A few patrons have noted that the lunch rush can lead to longer wait times, which may deter those in a hurry. Additionally, some visitors expressed a desire for more diverse menu options, particularly during lunch. Lastly, the limited dinner service, which sees almost no patrons, could leave those craving a late meal disappointed. Generally, these issues surface only during busy hours, so timing can significantly impact the experience.

This place is a hidden gem but well worth driving to. Their biscuits are like soft clouds and my favorite is the salt pork or sausage. You'll be questioning the whole time eating " wow. How do that make this biscuits this soft?" Be sure to go during breakfast hours but they also have a lunch menu that I have yet to try!

This is my second trip here, it's drive thru only and it's best to call with your order ahead of time. The staff is friendly. I ordered a Tuna Sandwich which was fresh as well as delicious. My friend ordered a fish dinner fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was everything. I will definitely order from here again for lunch.
